Muravyov Alexander Nikolaevich (1792–1863)-Decembrist, Lieutenant General and Senator. Since 1816 – Colonel of the Guards General Staff. One of the founders of the Union of Salvation and the Welfare Union. Since 1828 – Gorodnichy. In 1832–1834 – civil governor in Tobolsk. From 1837 to 1839 – civil governor in Arkhangelsk. Since 1855-Major General. 1855–1861 – Civil Governor in Nizhny Novgorod. Since 1861-Lieutenant General; In the same year he resigned.

Member of the Patriotic War of 1812 (including Borodino Battle) and foreign campaigns 1813–1814.
