In 1814-1816, the Swiss painter Jacques Christoph Mivil traveled to the Caucasus and Crimea, lived for some time on the estate of the Tauride Governor A. M. Borozdin. During the trip,.-TO.Mivil performed a large number of drawings, according to which, upon returning to Basel in 1817–1819, paints painted. The completed species were sent to St. Petersburg for sale. Ai-Petri-the peak in the Crimean mountains (the Yalta region of the Crimea).
