The picture is connected with the stay in Naples of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich, who ordered Shchedrin two types of city. The observation deck located near the Royal Garden (Villa Reale) is depicted, in the depths – at home on Partenope Street and Hill Pizzofalcon, on the horizon – Vesuvius.
