Dates from stylistic signs. Stylistic analogies of the landscape can be found both in Russian and Western European painting. An unknown author chose a spectacular moment for his romantic landscape, when the side rays of the setting sun tear out a spreading tree on the banks of the river and abandoned ruins reflected in the water from the evening gloom. For greater decorativeness, the artist used a proven technique – separate accents of red paint in the clothes of stuffal figures and on coastal trees.
