The artist is the corn
The idea of the picture "morning" associated with the impressions of the artist after visiting the environs of Lake Onega in 1955. It summarizes the motives that the artist prevailed into a poetic image of the spring collective farm morning. All artistic techniques work on this image – a horizontal friece solution of the picture, rhythmic saturation, a wealth of emotional shades. The picture is perceived as a monumental panel, as a kind of song about the cheerfulness of the inhabitants of this world.
